Brief Introduction of Department
The ENT OPD is located on the Third Floor of the New Hospital Block. For the period of 1st April 2022 to 31st March 2023, a total attendance of 26096 patients was recorded in the OPD with 244 admissions.
Department has very successfully achieved early detection of cancers of the ENT region and their management. OPD days of the department are from Monday to Saturday (except Wednesday) and OT day is on Wednesday. 129 Major and 254 Minor surgeries were performed by the department during the year.
ENT department runs Speech Therapy & Cancer Detection clinic as special clinics.
Achievement of Department of ENT in the Year 2022-2023
1. A case report of Schwannoma of bae Tongue-our manuscript has been accepted for publication in the Journal of oral and Maxilofacial pathology.
2. Operated a rare case pf venous malformation of the left submandibular gland and region – Masson’s Disease.
3. Operated a rare case of Blastomycosis infection of the left middle ear.
4. Operated two cases of oncology cases.
- Carcinoma of the Lower Lip with reconstruction of the post op wound using double advancement flaps.
- Basal cell carcinoma of the right Ala of Nose.
OPD Timing:- 9:00AM - 4:00PM (Monday to Friday)
9:00AM -1:00PM (Saturday)
