Brief Introduction of Department

The OPD of the Paediatric Department is situated on the Groung floor of the hospital. It also operates a   nursery having 12 beds, situated on the second floor of the New Block D of the hospital. For the period of 1st April 2022 to 31st March 2023, a total attendance of 21233 patients was recorded in the OPD. There were 1174 admissions. The department runs Paediatric Neurology, Paediatric Chest, Paediatric Endocrinology & Well Baby Clinic as special clinic.

 

Achievement of Department of Paediatrics in the Year 2022-2023

1. Shifting of NICU from old building to new building to a designated and appropriate location.

2. Escalation of NICU from 12 bedded to 18 bedded facility is in progress.

3. Initiation of Thyroid Screening of all new born in the facility by cord blood TSH.

4. Co-ordinated with Delhi Government for NEEV (Neonatal Early Evaluation Vision) for neonatal screening for designated diseases and started it in our facility ESIH Okhla.

5. Procurement of two phototherapy units in NICU.

6. Conducted regular CMEs for the education of the hospital.

OPD Timing:- 9:00AM - 4:00PM (Monday to Friday)

                        9:00AM -1:00PM (Saturday)
