Brief Introduction of Department

The Department is located on the Second and First Floors of the Old Building.

Tests Conducted in the Lab

Haematology: Bone marrow aspiration and biopsy, CBC, PBF, ESR, Reticulocyte count, Malaria detection (Method: SMEAR, RAPID ANTIGEN), Blood grouping (ABO Rh) coagulation tests (BT&CT).
Cytology: FNAC, Fluid Cytology (CSF, Pleural, Ascitic, Synovial, Pericardial) Sputum Cytology AFB, PAP Smear
Urine Analysis
Histopathology
Stool Analysis
Semen Analysis
Biochemistry: Blood sugar, urea, creatinine, LFT, Lipid Profile, Uric Acid, S. electrolytes, S. calcium, ADA, GTT.
Serology: Viral Markers (HIV, HbsAg, HCV), VDRL, RA, Widal, Dengue Serology, Malaria Serology, Pregnancy test

Lab is running 24 hours laboratory services. The total number of Lab tests conducted between 1st April 2022 to 31st March 2023 were 2093131.

LAB Timing:- 9:00AM - 4:00PM (Monday to Friday)

9:00AM -1:00PM (Saturday)

Sample Collection :- Room No.-28 (Old Building)

Sample Collection Timing:- 8AM- 11AM

Emergency Timing:- 2:00PM - 9:00AM
